I tried to support the company by buying directly through the site instead of through Amazon. MASSIVE MISTAKE. The device went on sale the day after I purchased it and I asked if they could refund me the difference, they use Shopify… so it’s a feature that’s available. They told me they didn’t have the ability to do that, but that they could process me a refund and I could go ahead and buy it again with the new sale price, if I wanted to take advantage of the discount.
I went ahead and purchased a new one and when I tried to return it, the shipping price came out to be more than the original cost of the device. They refused to offer me a label.
I am with here with an awful experience, paying more for the lock than the original price because support provided me with bad advice and they refuse to do anything about it. I should have just bought through Amazon or best buy.
Any tips besides just not buying through them directly again? This is the first direct to consumer purchase experience that was so awful.
