I’m getting a “low battery” alert on my U-Bolt-PRO, even though I just replaced with new batteries (all batteries tested and lithium). The lock continues to function, but the low battery alert interferes with code entry function. I’ve got 4 U-Bolt-PROs, this is the first I’ve seen this behavior. The device is a few years old.
Dunno why you’re getting the alert unless one cell is bad. But FWIW Bob2 lithiums are not recommended unless the U-tecs:
I have read about Lithiums “failing quickly once they give-out” and thus Alkalines being recommended for devices like these locks, so you might reconsider spending the bigger bucks on lithiums.
