I recently purchased a u-bolt with wifi bridge bundled. I have the bridge plugged in just 1.7m away from the lock and 1.7m from the wifi access point. Wifi and BLE signals reported to be “good” in the app.
Performance with Google assistant is very disappointing. If I power cycle the bridge it will work (SLOWLY, sometimes). But within a day it becomes unreliable. For example, just now I tell assistant to unlock and enter the PIN. Google reports the door has successfully unlocked, but the bridge has a rapid blinking blue light that after about 30 seconds changes flashing red then goes off. Despite this, the lock state is communicating correctly to the assistant integration when operated manually - albeit with an absurd 12 second delay.
It is also extremely frustrating that the state changing to “unlocked” can’t be used as a trigger for routines, but changing to “locked” can. This makes no sense.
