Last night, in the middle of the night, my lock started beeping constantly. It wasn’t just a single beep, but was one long beep followed by 2 short beeps, then a pause, then repeat. Over and over and over. I just replaced the batteries yesterday so I don’t think it is a battery issue, and I can’t find anything online to explain what is happening either. Anyone have any idea as to what the beeps mean?
Thank you very much for your reply.
I also have 2 of these locks and now I will replace them . Thanks for telling me about Schlage. I just checked them out and they kinda look better. will give them a try.
Again: thank you for taking time to reply . Cheers
I’ve been having the same issue where I am interrupted in the middle of the night with so much beeping. I just don’t know what to do. I changed out the batteries so many times.
Same issue with my lock. It’s interrupting me and my young kids in the middle Of night; and is most noticeable when there’s high moisture content in the air (sprinklers near by or a raining night).
Drying the lock usually temporarily fixes this, although usually it’s not soaked or visible wet.
I would really like a resolution to this because it’s rainy season in Florida now and I’m really annoyed by this.
@Jose8 We are so sorry for this trouble caused for you. A ticket #220495 has been created for this issue and our colleague will reply you in detail. Please check your e-mail later.
My lock has been doing the same beeping in the middle of the night during high humidity or rain, for about 2 months now. It was flawless for nearly 2 years, now this. Please open a ticket for me as well. Thank you!
My lock is doing the same thing one long beep then two short beeps. Batteries are good. Took out, put back in. Just continues to beep. See lots of others with same issues with Utec putting in tickets but not able to find a solution.
Please put in a ticket for me as well.
My lock started doing the same thing about a month ago. Randomly starts beeping in the middle of the night. Not sure how to turn it off other than remove batteries.
