I have a smart lock in a home about 3 hours away. This morning, I needed to let in a service provider into the house. But when I clicked on the unlock button in the app, it just said “connecting…” before timing out. The log view also didn’t work. When I checked my eero the “Espressif Inc” device was showing as offline. So clearly, no more Bridge connection.
I tried to then unpair the bridge, and then realized I probably need to be in the home to be able to re-pair. Is there any way to remotely re-establish the connection? or am I out of luck?
I have the bridged lock too. Since Eero says the bridge is offline, the problem is not pairing with the lock…it is the wifi connection that is missing. I’ve never had the bridge lose its wifi connection unless the 110V was disconnected, which has happened just because the tension of the prongs in the outlet’s slots is too weak.
Anyway, I think you need to re-establish the 110V connection to your bridge (probably by physically making sure it is plugged in “enough” to get power), after which the wifi and Bluetooth connections will automatically get connected. (That is, my bridge “remembers” both the WiFi settings and the Bluetooth pairing when unplugged)
