I have no option to update old firmware 02.31.0020. App says firmware is up to date.
I tried, resetting the lock, reinstalling the app, resetting the lock within the app, standing right next to the lock. Nothing works.

When updating firmware remotely, I often get an âupdate failedâ message. I recheck a few minutes later to find the firmware version shows updated.
How/why do you know there is an update available for your lock? Does the âFirmware:â option in settings have a red dot?
I know version 02.33 is available yet, app states that 02.31 is the latest one.
Will it actually work then? That would be nice.
I guess I wasnât clear⌠how do you know that 2.33 is an update >for your version of the lock<. For example, there are multiple âflavorsâ of the lock and multiple generations of each âflavorâ. V2.33 may not apply to your specific lock. Supposedly your lockâs firmware setting communicates with their servers and knows when an update is available for it.
For example, I have the Bluetooth only âflavorâ and my firmware is V2.26.0020.
Are you experiencing any problems with your lock? If not, I would not rush to update the firmware since updates can sometimes cause problems, but maybe thatâs just me.
You bring valid points while official service told me to provide US address only (I am not in US) for part replacement. You should be the head of the utecs customer support.

@Kiki (or other U-tec Team member) - can you provide a link to a list of what firmware version is the most recent for the various locks you sell (ideally listing firmware version appropriate by serial number)
I am also having this issue. My firmware is currently 02.26.2020 and says the latest firmware is installed.
I have this exact same issue - firmware on version 02.26.0020 and app says itâs up to date. Also, my lock has started to behave strangely in the past week. Twice it has just stopped working after making a series of beeps. The batteries are brand new - so itâs not that. I refreshed the bridge connection. Reset the lock and set it back up again.
I want to know if the firmware may be the issue.
