Filing consumer products safety complaint because of not being able to manually unlock door

I’ve looked to see if there’s a solution, but evidently there is none. This is the second time the battery in my U-Bolt has run down and I couldn’t manually unlock the door FROM THE INSIDE TO GO OUT. I had to replace the batteries to get it to work.

This is a product safety violation…trapping folks in their homes because the device will not work without a battery. And I receive no low battery warning either.

What if we were trying to escape a fire? No product should have been allowed on the market if you can’t at least manually unlock it to get out.
