Bluetooth enabled unlock

Would like lock to connect to my phone when I am close and unlock door

I would like for the app to run on apple watch when the phone’s Bluetooth first comes into range to allow the lock to be unlocked quickly.

Or Apple NFC unlock with a double tap of the side button and putting the watch or phone up to the lock. (like the UL3 Sense Wifi)

Most of locks supports Auto Unlock feature, which is the same as described.

Does that rely upon Wifi and a gateway? I’m not keen on the proximity accuracy of Wifi. I imagine Bluetooth would be shorter range.
