3 month old lock that I love all of a sudden has no power. Pad doesnāt work. Lights donāt light up . Wonāt connect to app. Itās a manual deadbolt now. Only thing that works is connectivity to bridge. I sent email to support. I need help resolving or replacement? Is there an answer for this?
2 days after installing it, my ubolt pro doesnt work anymore. The whole keypad is dead. I so regret getting this lock!
Well, Iāll add my report that we are also having this issue. For us this is intermittent so we are monitoring the situation and will report back. It would be helpful if the u-tec support people would post what to try rather than just referring people to individual support ticket responses. That would help us trouble shoot.
Iām having exactly the same issue. Fingerprint reader has been useless since a few months back now. Opened a ticket with support, sent pictures and everything youād asked me for just to get the answer that I need to buy another one b/c warranty expired. Yeah right! The heck Iām going to waste more money in another expensive unit to cicle back with same issues.
I feel your pain. I have the same issue
I have the same issue, and reading this forum makes me think that I should throw it out and go with a company that actually replied to their emails.
Iām really sick of this.
Same issue here - app controls lock/unlock functions, but keypad is dead. No help in this forum from the mfr other than individual comments regarding support tickets. Cāmon u-tec, Post a general response to any comment and help the hundreds of users that obviously have the exact identical issue. Obviously a faulty wiring design, not enough protection to prevent the damage reported by several users who discovered the problem on their own. U-etc needs to resolve this. The only logical solution for me is to find a better mfr.
@Berglund We are so sorry for this inconvenience caused for you. As the app controls the lock with no issue, it means the Interior Portion of the lock is not defective, but the Exterior Portion of the lock might be defective. Please disconnect and re-connect the connector between the Interior & Exterior Portions and carefully check whether the wire got cut or damaged. If this doesnāt help to resolve the keypad issue, please click here to submit a ticket to request a replacement part under warranty.
My Ultraloq is doing the same thing after this battery replacement. This is the 4th battery replacement.
@Hurd Please click here to submit a ticket so that we can guide you with detailed troubleshooting steps. If we decide the device is defective, we are willing to offer you a replacement under warranty. Please donāt worry.
Hi Eli,
I did some more trouble shooting with the U-Bolt Pro WiFi Bridge, as follows:
Now I can lock and unlock the U-Bolt using the U=Home APP. I turned off āAuto-Lockā and turned on Geofencing.
The keypad is still dead. There are no lights and no beeps when I touch the 1-0 keys or the āUltraLoqā key. I must use the APP or the key to lock it.
When I touch the fingerprint reader, the lock beeps, the red ring lights up and the lock opens.
The only way to lock/unlock the phone is via the U-Home APP or the key. This works for me, but not for my guests or the cleaning crew. They need codes.
Sally had indicated (email below) that U-Tec would offer me a 30% discount toward the purchase of a new UltraLoq from the U-Tec Store. I want to purchase a new U-Bolt Pro WiFi Bridge. The list price in the U-Tec Store is $179.99 before the 30% discount. We need to receive this new lock no later than mid next week (June 5 or 6).
What do I need to do to complete the order with the 30% discount?
Thanks.

@Hurd So sorry for my late reply. I checked your ticket #217112 and found that our colleague has already created an online invoice and you have also already made the payment. You can check your e-mail for the package tracking number.
Thank you. I ordered the new UltraLoq with the discount and installed it.
Thank you
@Hurd You are welcome!
