[News] Ultraloq Z-Wave Locks Will Soon Support Native Home Assistant Integration via xThings!

Hey everyone! :waving_hand:

We’ve got some exciting news for all Home Assistant users and smart home tinkerers here:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: According to a press release from xThings, official support for Z-Wave smart locks, including Ultraloq models, will soon be expanded through Home Assistant’s native integration!

That means:

  • :gear: Easier configuration
  • :locked: More stable local control
  • :counterclockwise_arrows_button: Faster status syncing
  • :puzzle_piece: No more complicated workarounds or HACS dependencies

We know many of you have been asking for better HA support (especially for PIN management and automation rules). This looks like a solid step in the right direction. :speech_balloon:

While we can’t speak for HA’s roadmap directly, we’re actively gathering feedback from this community and working closely with tech partners to ensure smoother compatibility going forward.

What this means for you:

If you own a Z-Wave version of our Ultraloq smart locks (like the U-Bolt Z-Wave), you’ll likely benefit from this update once it rolls out. :raising_hands:

We’d love to hear:

  • Are you currently using Home Assistant with Ultraloq?
  • What features would you love to see?
  • Any success stories or workarounds to share?

Let’s keep this thread going! :light_bulb:

We’ll update here as we learn more.

This is not an official feature announcement, but we’re excited about the direction things are heading and appreciate your patience and support as we continue improving smart home integrations.

what about ultraloq BT + wifi bridge locks?

I agree, it should be easier to integrate wifi than zwave. I have locks with G2 gateways and they work well with HA. Sucks that this feature is not available with Ultralock.

Sorry. It won’t work with HA.
