Why do you not offer an integration for your wifi lock, only your Z wave one?
Clearly the functionality can be made available since it is offered for Z Wave products and also the Wifi Pro lock does work with IFTTT.
But connecting one to the other makes the delay upwards of 10-15 minutes when activating the API through IFTTT and this is not feasible. Just make the products available on Home Assistant, it doesn’t make your product any less secure.
If anything, having direct integration between a local Home Assistant server and the lock through wifi/bluetooth makes it a lot more secure as there is no vulnerability associated with cloud access. It also ensures the lock can always work even if the cloud services fail/go out of business/reach end of life.
Piling on here. Home Assistant is unquestionably the best and most versatile platform out there. Right now, I have to maintain a SmartThings hub just so I can use your product in my house. The app is fine, but if you haven’t figured it out yet, no one wants to use a different app for every device in their house. I saw the Z-wave was supported so surely the Wi-Fi lock would be too. Nope. As of now, I will not purchase another U-tec product until I see a supported integration for Home Assistant. Smart things is all but Dead, IFTT adds cost, so not going there. This can’t be a huge lift for U-Tec.
