Is the Bluetooth chip in the bridge affected by this disclosure?
I am guessing YES as my locks started to unlock by themselves…I had to pull ALL my ULTRLOQ’s and replace them with SCHLEGE as I wasn’t risking it. Even when Companies say “no” the intrusion I had made me feel VERY UNSAFE. I took those locks out immediately. Prefer not to use Mr Smith or Wesson, if I don’t need to. Replaced the locks. Having them unlock repeatedly is just telling me that someone hacked i and was testing. NO THANK YOU.
The bluetooth wifi bridges appear as ESP chip devices but I am unsure about the Ultraloq locks themselves.
Hi Ben, please don’t worry about this. According to Espressif’s clarifications, this won’t affect anything.
Dear Noreen, the issue of your lock shall not be caused by this; please don’t worry. If you still have the lock, you can check the Logs to see by which method the lock was unlocked. Then, we can judge the reason and help further. You can also click here to submit a ticket. Thank you!
When will you release an updated firmware that addresses the vulnerability?
