I was wondering when do you guys call alexa to control the lock?
When someone is knocking, hands full with housework.
Check if the door is locked via Alexa at night time.
Yell at Alexa to unlock when enter the house.

Every morning my daughter drops off our 2 yo grandson or our older grandkids come to get ready for school at 6:30 am. I love being able to, after seeing on my Echo Show who’s at my door through Ring doorbell, tell Alexa to unlock my door, say the unlock voice code, and go back to sleep. Use the U-tec skill in Alexa… Works great, without IFTTT.
