I purchased the newly released thick door kit for the Pro series. It comes with a new bolt with a longer arm but there is no instruction manual on how to replace the existing bolt on the standard unit.
Do I need to open the case and disassemble the unit in order to replace the bolt?
I had the same experience. Just made me shake my head … although I assumed the instructions would be easy to find on the website. It is definitely a fly-by-night - get your technical instructions written by someone who does not have command of the English language - type of company.
Did you figure it out? I don’t want to disassemble my current lock without knowing what I am doing to install the new one. I don’t have the time to dick around with things.
