Not sure why you would want me to fill out a profile. I’m 62 years. I’m a rancher in northern Az. My career was in the automotive industry for 50 plus years until I retired. I spend a lot of time looking at new technology but where I live internet access is very limited. I have spent thousands of dollars upgrading my cell service with cell boosters and wide angle high gain antennas. The only way to get the internet is through cell providers which has become a market to get the most money out of rural communities because big name corporations like Century Link have no desire to rebuild the infrastructure that is already here. Old copper lines with a max speed of 1.25 mgbs. Which most of the time is barely faster than dial-up.
I like my tech and spend a lot of money on it however I’ve come to a point after buying all this equipment to make my life more up to date that it becomes invasive.
I do Screenwise and Nielsen television and internet panels. I have done in the past product testing for various kind of industries but have yet to break into the tech word product testing.
I have several Utec devices and at the beginning were terrific especially the locks for my back door with the automatic unlock when I drive into my driveway. But all have seemed to malfunction in one way or another.
I like being part of a community that has common goals. Being in the US Army for 10 years taught me a lot about being part of a team and not a renegade. It’s always better to have more minds solving an issue than just one. However I have been known to do things my own way regardless.
So for now I guess this introduction will do.
